BIOGRAPHY

Veronika Pápai is the owner of OpenSpace Kft. and a proponent of ecologically oriented landscape architecture. Previously a lead designer at FŐKERT Nonprofit Zrt., her work there centred on planning and project management for Budapest's key green spaces. This work established that self-sustaining green space systems are the primary means of achieving sustainability and rational feasibility.

Veronika applies a unique design method where functionalism and the infrastructural significance of green spaces shape formal expression, ensuring ecological approaches mitigate the negative effects of climate change in current developments.
